The Central Park South
Erected in 1961, The Central Park South is a twenty-one story structure which functions as a cooperative apartment with 37 apartments. The curved elements and the interesting roofline of the white brick building, makes this an eye-catcher. Since it was built long ago, there have been a few alterations made in the structure, including the additional winder garden which adds great beauty, making a perfect collaboration of classic and modern elements.
It is located at the top-most floor with white balconies complementing the structure. The two-story base of the building is made of gray polished granite, embellished with canopy.
Other structures in this area have a view of the Central Park, but only the Central Park South offers a clear view of the park’s Wollman Skating Rink, pond and the bridge.
